error message after local login

I can telnet a workstation but whenever i login locally it gives the following error "unable to intialise or connect to the desktop messaging system.check your $home/.dt.errorlog for more information. "

Hi,

You have got some kind of hostname problem.

# nslookup ws_name
# nslookup ip_address

should be the same.

Run below script.

# sr_dt

and check the warnings.

What use has the problem ?
Could you please reply with the $home/.dt.errorlog ?
The right name for the test script is /usr/contrib/bin/X11/dr_dt.

Run it and look on Error messages

Hi

Can you please check the .dtprofile as well , this file is used while login into the CDE envirnoment. Please put the error message form .dterror file as well so it is easy to analyze.
