      <description>checking the GSP chassis error log I got an Alert level: 6 = Boot possible, pending failure - action required&lt;BR /&gt;Source 8 = I/O&lt;BR /&gt;Source Detail: 9 = serial SOURCE ID: 0&lt;BR /&gt;Problem Detail: 3 = functional failure&lt;BR /&gt;...&lt;BR /&gt;Reporting entity: system firmware&lt;BR /&gt;---------------------------------&lt;BR /&gt;There are four log entries for this error.&lt;BR /&gt;We will be rebooting our system next week and I would like to know what this error is before that. Any help GREATLY appreciated.</description>

      <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;You can provide the GSP log in entirety. Something to do with your Serial device, probably your console/Remote console/UPS port.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Did you make any configuration changes in GSP or system prior to this error popping-up?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;What is the system model? rp24xx or rp54xx?&lt;BR /&gt;You can also check if the PDC and GSP firmware are latest.</description>
