    <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Sounds like the devices are not zoned properly.&lt;BR /&gt;The library &amp;amp; VA7400 must be zoned to see the switch &amp;amp; the switch must be zoned to see the Tachyon in your system.&lt;BR /&gt;You can't just place a switch in there &amp;amp; expect everything to be seen properly.&lt;BR /&gt;If they are zoned properly then you need to discover the devices&lt;BR /&gt;ioscan -fn&lt;BR /&gt;then install the device files&lt;BR /&gt;insf&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;HTH,&lt;BR /&gt;Jeff</description>

      <description>My server was with my taichyon /dev/td0 connected with my NIKE 30, point to point. &lt;BR /&gt;Now, I connect my /dev/td0 with my SAN (switch brocade 2400) and my server don't see my device across of tha SAN (Library / VA7400 / etc )  &lt;BR /&gt;Already execute:&lt;BR /&gt;fcmsutil /dev/td0 reset&lt;BR /&gt;fcmsutil /dev/td0 disable/enable&lt;BR /&gt;but nothing !&lt;BR /&gt;Help - me !</description>

      <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;i would check three things:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;- your HBA: is it supported with SAN ?&lt;BR /&gt;- your fc driver: is it up-to-date ?&lt;BR /&gt;- your system: did you do a reboot ?&lt;BR /&gt;- is there any error logged in the syslog ?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;   Massimo</description>

      <description>The zones of the switch was OK.&lt;BR /&gt;My HBAs support SAN.&lt;BR /&gt;I donÂ´t reboot my system.&lt;BR /&gt;Syslog is OK. without erro</description>

      <description>It looks like this is some old hardware. Can you check on the fibre channel switch how the server does log in? F_port? L_Port?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;It is possible that you need to set up a QuickLoop environment in the Brocade 2400.</description>
