    <description>Yes.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If you want the change to persist next time you reboot the machine you need to change /etc/hosts and /etc/rc.config.d/netconf to have the new IP address.  If you are using DNS you also need to change your DNS server so that it has the new IP address.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Also be aware that anything that references the old IP address will no longer work.</description>

      <description>You need to change /etc/rc.config.d/netconf, to ensure the changes are reflected after a reboot.</description>
