OCD errors

I have a serial printer which has been in the habit of locking up after several pages of printing. That alone could mean many things, but in the syslog, I am seeing:

ocd...(207) ERROR: No timing mark negotiation to obtain from network within time interval allowed
ocd...(298) ERROR: Printer disabled
ocd...(299) ERROR: Closing connection due to error with data path
ocd...(297) ERROR: Removing pseudonym /dev/dtc1b2p22 and closing pty /dev/ptym/ptyp6
ocd...(296) ERROR: Recreating pseudonym /dev/dtc1b2p22 with new pty

The printer is set up on a DTC48.

These errors in the log what were the time stamps on them ie seperation.

Have a look at the setting in /etc/ddfa/dp file for your printer, and also the pcf file in the same dir:-

My settings for pcf are:-

binary_mode: disable
open_tries: 1500
open_timer: 30
