No puedo conectarme a mi servidor HP a traves de telnet o ftp, ejecuto un ping y si hay conexion, la consola tambien esta deshabilitada, puede ser esto debido a la falta de algun parche del sistema operativo??

Hay alguna forma de deshabilitar que se haga ftp o telnet al HP??

if I understand it correctly you can not connect to the machine using ftp, telnet or any other network method and wondering if you are missing some patches. At the same time you r console is not working either.

the suggestions can be very different about what may be wrong here but if you provide the following info, preferably in English, I am sure someone can help you:

The version is HP-UX 11.0

I can't execute the command because te console is hang!!! and unable telnet

Querida vero,

te cuento que lo mismo me paso a mi hase unas pocas semanas.. Lo unico diferente es que ftp marchava. Hasta cuando tratava de meterme del console, no me dejava.

Lo que tenes que chequiar es lo sigiente :

Yo tuve que bajar la server, y me dejo conectarme por el consol. ise un
ps -ef | grep inetd
Tambien tuve que cambiar unas cosas en netdaemon..La linia que dise export INET_ARGS="-l" desia 0 dembes de -l..

Desupes que ise esto, ise ./inetd start

Desime que version del sistema operativo que tienes...

Cual es tu email y te mandare mas informacion.

if the console is hung, and you can not acces the box via any kind og connection, i.e., telnet/ftp etc., there is not much else than a reboot you can do.

either hit ctrl-b on the console and when you see the GSP> prompt or CM> prompt, first try command TC, which hopefully will create a crashdump for you to be analyzed but if this fails type RS and hit enter for a total reset.

If this one is not available as well, power it off and power it back on after few seconds as a last resort.
