      <description>What kind of machine?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If it is the 9 pin serial console port, then no you can't.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;However, if it is a workstation and  your console is configured to be the video card, then yest it will work.</description>

      <description>CDE is a graphics program. If you are referring to the serial port on the computer that's labeled "console" then the answer is no. The serial port talks to HP-UX using the command line (most system administrators call this 'real' Unix) and will require an ASCII terminal, ideally, an HP 700 series terminal and cable. The cabling and setup to use the terminal are very different depending on what model of HP computer you have.</description>
