      <description>Buffer cache is having a fixed size of memory.If you are using variable page size proper page in and page out will not hapeen.</description>

      <description>There is a difference between the page size for the OS, that is set in the kernel and the page size for an application that can be set by using chatr.  Don't mess with the one in the kernel.  You can change the page size for an application. Go to &lt;A href="http://www.docs.hp.com" target="_blank"&gt;www.docs.hp.com&lt;/A&gt; and search on "POPS", Performance Optimized Page Sizing.</description>
