Send mail config...

I am trying to mail from the unix box using mailx. when i send to a 'local' address, i.e. to an address @kinnerton.com it works fine. when ever i try an mail externally i get the error attached!

Any advise would be great.

BTW - i use webmin to configure send mail although i am happy to use any means nessesary.

I was unable to open the attachment to view
the exact error, but is sounds like to you
need to modify /etc/mail/sendmail.cf
for the following macros.

UUCP relay for unresolved ! addresses via SMTP (DW):
ie: DWcorp.mail.domain.

Fully Qualified Domain Name - FQDN (Dj)
ie: Dj$w.official.domain.name

If using uucp instead of smtp
THe macro to change is DX

mailq -v

Are you using smart relay?? The address you are putting an email could not be resolved.
