      <description>HI,&lt;BR /&gt;  I have an Install script which installs&lt;BR /&gt;  Informix, weblogic and my CODE binaries&lt;BR /&gt;  written in C.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;  When my Code fails to start during &lt;BR /&gt;  installation, the most strange part is &lt;BR /&gt;  all weblogic daeomin which were started&lt;BR /&gt;  by the scriptalso gets killed ??&lt;BR /&gt;  though these processes are not interlinked.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;  why is it so ??&lt;BR /&gt;  The script is starting the process in &lt;BR /&gt;  background and informix keeps on running&lt;BR /&gt;  why is it that that weblogic dies ?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;  command which is starting weblogic is&lt;BR /&gt;  startWebLogic.sh &amp;amp;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;  Please help me with this.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;  Thanks,&lt;BR /&gt;  Amit</description>

      <description>Amit,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;The script is the parent process.&lt;BR /&gt;When calling other processes use nohup as &lt;BR /&gt;a precursor of the process and regardless &lt;BR /&gt;whether others die it won't.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;hope this helps&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Gene</description>
