Greetings! One of our customers is doing some automated FTPing and gets very odd errors from time to time:

parameter file
masgn01d
/download/simon/incoming/
/stgdata/multi/datawh/out/
maintenance_call_item_xref.*
ftpwarh
/u/isa/4.3.8/APPS/simon/.netrc
binary
MGET
End of parameter file
Error - incorrect permissions on /dev/tty.
Name (masgn01d:isa43): Login incorrect.
Login failed.
Interactive mode off.
Please login with USER and PASS.
Local directory now /download/simon/incoming
Please login with USER and PASS.
Please login with USER and PASS.
can't find list of remote files: No such file or directory

I've checked the permissions on /dev/tty; they're the same as on other servers. I've checked the umask on the account as well, it's set to 022. I can't figure it out! The only thing I can think of is that maybe the MGET processes are competing and failing? The client frequently does simultaneous FTPs using the same account.
