Hi ,

I trying to install shc depot file
SHCHPUXV1111-V102-build199.depot getting aborted giving some errors given below which found in swagent.log file please give me the solution if u have known about this.

Installing fileset "MCPS-COMMON.BIN,r=A.01.01.00" because one
or more other selected filesets depend on it (1 of 2).
Could not access remote file
"/etc/opt/hpsmc/common/config/ENGLISH.cfg" in software item
"MCPS-COMMON.BIN,r=A.01.01.00,a=HP-UX_B.11.00_32/64,v=HP:/"
due to an internal error on the remote system.
Failed installing fileset "MCPS-COMMON.BIN,r=A.01.01.00".
Check the above output for details.

I installed this earlier this month:

on 11.11 - is your system 11.0 or 11.11?

Ah - looks like you downloaded the wrong version...try again - this time grab the 11.11 one.

Hi geoff,

The Depot file which we are trying to install in this machine is right one . we have installed it in other 5 servers and got the desired reports also. but in this particular machine it is creating a o byte file in the directory /etc/opt/hpsmc/common/config/ENGLISH.cfg
after that it is aborting the installation . the reason for abortion given in the log file is Could not access remote file . why it is hapeening in this machine only . we have checked for the files and directory permissions also. All the machines are loaded with 11.11 and all are in same patch level .

hi,

how are u installing this ??
using swinstall ?? then go to options -> change options ->

there select "ALL targets to resolve source locally"

i think this should help.
