The xset program has the ability to turn on and off the screen saver. If you can determine what widget it is using, you can perhaps use that instead of scrnsaver.h

Hi,
I don't want to turn on and off the scrnsaver on the HP-UX machine. I just want to check the Status of the screen Saver whether it is Active or Idle. For that I'm using the scrnsaver.h in the SunOS. That is not available on the HP-UX. So, i just want to find out the equivalent headerfile that is available on HP-UX.
Thanks
Datteswara rao
Hi,
I'm using the 'X11/extensions/scrnsaver.h'
for checking the Screen Saver Status on SunOS5.8.
But, When I'm trying to use the same for the HP-UXB.11.11, It is giving the Error that 'X11/extensions/scrnsaver.h' Not Found.
How can i get the scrnsaver.h header file for HP-UX. I check it in the X11free web site , But it is not available.
can anybody suggest me that is there any alternative to use for checking the screen saver status in HP-UX.

thanks in advance,
datteswara rao
