      <description>I recently encountered a system crash on my main server. It is runnning HPUX 10.20. The message prompted upon boot up is &lt;BR /&gt;"/dev/vg02/rlvolb: size = 13312, MTIME = Sep 22 07:40 2004 count 433 should be 434&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;/dev/vg02/rlvolb: UNEXPECTED INCONSISTENCT; PLEASE RUN FSCK MANUALLY"&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;What should I do to recover? &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thank you all for your kind advise&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>File System check failed out there. And it is asking to run it manually. &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt; Execute as fsck on command line there.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt; see man fsck and execute as,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt; fsck -V  &lt;DISK&gt;&lt;BR /&gt; find disk's with bdf command&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt; -V will give one command execute it. or &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt; simply as,&lt;BR /&gt; &lt;BR /&gt;fsck -V &lt;DISK&gt; | sh&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt; It will some informations of failure there.&lt;/DISK&gt;&lt;/DISK&gt;</description>

      <description>This can be solved as following&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;#umount &amp;lt; filesystem on the lvolb&amp;gt;&lt;BR /&gt;#fcsk /dev/vg01/lvolb&lt;BR /&gt;#mount /dev/vg01/lvolb /filesystem&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;regards&lt;BR /&gt;SK&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>Thank you for your replies guys.. I managed to recovered the system by performing a&lt;BR /&gt;"fsck -F hfs -y /dev/vg02/rlvolb". &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;But what could be the possible cause of this error? could it be caused by a physcial harddisk problem i.e. an unstable harddrive... when it says count 434, what does this count refer to?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thank u!</description>
