      <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;  I am having 2 server running HP-UX.&lt;BR /&gt;  Problem I am having is there is an entry in&lt;BR /&gt;  cronjob to run a script at 2:00 AM on both&lt;BR /&gt;  the servers but on one server i am getting&lt;BR /&gt;  time-diff of 2 hours and on another 3 hours&lt;BR /&gt;  why is it so ??&lt;BR /&gt;  but the server are having same time as they&lt;BR /&gt;  are configured to same NTP server.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;  please check the following.&lt;BR /&gt;  &lt;BR /&gt;  machine1:/home/sc $grep EET /usr/lib/tztab&lt;BR /&gt;EET-2EETDST&lt;BR /&gt;0 4 25-31 3  1981-2038 0   EETDST-3&lt;BR /&gt;0 3 25-31 10 1981-2038 0   EET-2&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;   &lt;BR /&gt;  machine2:/home/sc $grep EET /usr/lib/tztab&lt;BR /&gt;EET-2EETDST&lt;BR /&gt;0 4 25-31 3  1981-2038 0   EETDST-3&lt;BR /&gt;0 3 24-30 9  1981-1995 0   EET-2&lt;BR /&gt;0 3 25-31 10 1996-2038 0   EET-2&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;will the above entries in the tztab make any difference ?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks,&lt;BR /&gt;Amit</description>

      <description>Every HP machine I have gives the 3 lines result. Maybe your missing a patch on the seconf host. Verify by making a diff between the outputs of&lt;BR /&gt;swlist -l patch |sort&lt;BR /&gt;on each server.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Regards,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Fred&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>Hello Amit, &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Rebuild system kernel with timezone of 300 for Eastern time EST5EDT&lt;BR /&gt;   timezone   300&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;   Once the new kernel is built, confirm timezone with the following command.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;   grep timezone /stand/system should show timezone of 300&lt;BR /&gt;   timezone   300&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;   &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;please check this&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Shine&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;</description>
