What's the deamon of vx_inactive_thread for ? Can I kill the process. Pls advice

Server currently runing on OS ver.11.11.
Any patches that I need to apply because its grep most of the system performance.

vxfs daemons are for the vxfs(jfs) file systems.

Install the stable/recent patch bundles and load the appropriate patches.

There are quite a number of related patches that could solve your probelm. Suggest you browse the patch database. There could be a number of dependencies involved as well.

You could also look at doing a complete patch bundle as well.
