i made a recovery tape and i wanna see waht is the contentes of this tape ??
it is tar tv??

Hello

fast forward the tape to the index

mt -t /dev/rmt/0mn fsf 1

read the tape

tar tvf /dev/rmt/0mn | more

Hi,

you can check the boot LIF image on tape either by booting any HP RISC system with it or by

1. /opt/ignite/bin/copy_boot_tape -u /dev/rmt/0mn -b -d /tmp
2. /usr/bin/lifls -l /tmp/bootimage

U can also use /opt/ignite/bin/check_recovery to verfy tape.
