      <description>If your applications are IO bound or CPU bound, these upgrades won't change that.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Run iostat to see if you have specific harddrives being used considerably more than others.  Run top and glance (gpm for the X windows version) to see what processes are using the most CPU.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;mark</description>

      <description>Did you do some sort of baseline prior to upgrade?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Maybe the application is CPU bound, and the additional ram/disk was of no benefit...&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Rgds...Geoff</description>
