I'm currently running and 11.0 server (V2600) and over the weekend a new problem has developed. Whenever I attempt to "remsh" to the server I get the following message: "remshd: Login disallowed (audit error)" the system I'm remsh from is in the servers .rhost file. Any ideas of what could have been tampered w/ to cause this problem? It was working on Friday and there have been no changes made that I know of.

Hi Scott,

When turning off the auditing with 'audsys -f' on the target server, do you still have the same error?

Dan
