    <description>Hi Koni,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;    First of tell you are using serail console or graphical console. In graphical console(if you have VGA port in server) only you can expoort DISPLAY and xhost+ otherwise you can do a telnet from any of your client and then try&lt;BR /&gt;say&lt;BR /&gt;your pc's ip is 10.0.0.2&lt;BR /&gt;telnet to server&lt;BR /&gt;export DISPLAY=10.0.0.2:0&lt;BR /&gt;xhost +10.0.0.2&lt;BR /&gt;then&lt;BR /&gt;try with xwin applications like Sam ,sd ,xstm&lt;BR /&gt;in that Case you may require xwindows client should be there in your pc .&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>Hi&lt;BR /&gt;I have a problem on hp9000 server console, it suddenly become very slow to respond, when I tried run the command: xhost + I get the message: unable to open DISPLAY.  what can I do other than rebooting the system.  the server is running oracle applications 11i&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Regards &lt;BR /&gt;Burhan Koni</description>

      <description>hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;the problem is what, the output in screen is smoothly scrolling.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;if the auto LF in the console is enabled(8th column in the bottom screen - see the * is showing in that column. ) it will happen like that.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;to disable press 'F8' or 'ALT F8' depending on your console.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;regds,&lt;BR /&gt;</description>
