swverify errors

Hi,

I've run and swverify -v -x check_permissions=true \* and it's produced the errors below.

Does anyone know the best course of action to rectify these and which ones, if any, I don't need to worry about?

Paul,

I believe each package or patch that has been installed is then examined for package-file install modes. if the package modes conflicts with the actual files on the file system, then you get:

ERROR: File "/usr/bin/lp" should have mode "4555" but the actual mode

As for the other errors... ERROR PHCO_28067..
- does PHCO show up from:

swlist -l product

Hi

i will first check the status of all your fileset in your system .

you can use this command to find out which fileset are not install correct .

do swlist -l fileset -a state

any fileset that is not in the status of configured you need to fix .

about patches , check only the last patches that are install on the system , dont check old patches but only the last patches .

if you can give the output of this list it will help .
