    <description>Hi John,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I assume you are not using VxVM. 11i comes with base VxVM and it can slow down system boot up depending on the number of disks you have. I suggest you disable VxVM if you are not using it. To disable it, simply touch a file.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;touch /etc/vx/reconfig.d/state.d/install-db&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;-Sri</description>

      <title>VxVM boot up error message</title>

      <description>new to HP UX 11i, although used 10.2 before and Solaris and Linux for the past 3 years. Bought a D class to refresh my old memory at home.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Installed the HP UX 11i on the D class server.
