I posted a qestion and got some answers, but I did not get the points pulldown button in the answers, I am also loged in. Sorry, is my first attempt.

Sounds like you forgot to login. There is a login link on the left hand, or simply post a reply of your own saying "thank you". Afterwards you will be able to assign points and close the thread if you want.

Naber,
In your profile you have asked only one question and it's the same one to which now we r replying.
You might have asked question with other login ID and trying to assign points with this login ID which is not possible.
Any way now for this question you will definitely get the pulled menu after clicking on the "unassigned" tab just in upper right corner of this reply. See if you can assigned points :).
