    <description>Nope ... never seen that one before and nothing like it on HP's internal database ...... &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Is root affected ? checked networking ? checked any customistations etc reviewed dr_vue output .... &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;sorry i can't be more specific ..... any other errors ?</description>

      <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;I am getting the following error when trying to login to an Xserver...&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;[5] % more ~/.vue/errorlog&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Wed Feb 28 12:18:18 2001&lt;BR /&gt;Workspace Manager: Menu specification UserDef not found&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Wed Feb 28 12:18:27 2001&lt;BR /&gt;vuesession: Connection to server lost - exiting.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Wed Feb 28 12:18:27 2001&lt;BR /&gt;Workspace Manager: I/O error on display:: mydisplayname:0.0&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;------------&lt;BR /&gt;Anyone got any ideas on this one please?</description>

      <description>sounds like something in your users $HOME enviroment is set incorrectly .... what happens if whilst logged out of vue you mv $HOME/.vue dir to .vue_orig ? and then log back in ?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If this resolves ....what customisations have occured specific to the affected user that could account for this behaviour ?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Are other users affected ?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Perhaps dr_vue may unearth something ? Also if this occurs as you login to VUE check the following files too !&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;/var/vue/Xerrors and $HOME/.vue/startlog.</description>

      <description>Hi Alex,&lt;BR /&gt;I've tried mving .vue to .vue_orig, but I still get the same problem...  I think I may try a skeleton profile or something to narrow it down that way... just thought someone might have seen the error before..&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;thanks,&lt;BR /&gt;Nik&lt;BR /&gt;</description>
