Offical tpm-C numbers are at www.tpc.org. Anything not there is just an estimate. Remember that these are optimally configured numbers with huge amounts of storage. TPC-C is very dependent on the amount of RAM and the I/O capacity, as you need something like 35,000 I/Os per second for every 100,000 tpm.
Naturally, you won't likely have that much I/O performance capability, so you won't get close to the theoretical number. A more reasonable approach is to observe your system with GlancePlus Pak and see what can be done to improve the perfomance of your specific environment.

I don't see any numbers on that web site for the rp5470.

It depends, the rp5470 could come with several different processors:

These systems were available in different CPU-configurations, denoted by a two-number/letter suffix as follows:

* -36: PA-8500 360MHz with 512/1024KB on-chip I/D L1 cache each
* -44: PA-8500 440MHz with 512/1024KB on-chip I/D L1 cache each
* -5X: PA-8600 550MHz with 512/1024KB on-chip I/D L1 cache each
* -6X: PA-8700 650MHz with 768/1536KB on-chip I/D L1 cache each
* -7X: PA-8700 750MHz with 768/1536KB on-chip I/D L1 cache each
* -8X: PA-8700 875MHz with 768/1536KB on-chip I/D L1 cache each

( see http://www.openpa.net/systems/index.html )

Those various processors would each have differnet TPM ratings.

Pete
