      <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Looks like you do not have mirrorux installed on the system. Do a swlist to verify,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;swlist |grep -i mirror&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If this lists &lt;BR /&gt;B2491BA   B.11.00        MirrorDisk/UX&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;It means you have mirrorus installed and the problem is something else. Else you need mirrorux installed on the server for -m option to work.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Hope this helps.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Regds&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>Clay,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I expect he is working on an Itanium server where:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt; lvextend -m 1 /dev/vg00/lvol1 /dev/dsk/c2t1d0s2&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Is perfectly valid, as LVM doesn't manage the EFI partitions...&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;As others have mentioned, sounds like you don't have MirrorDisk/UX installed.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;HTH&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Duncan</description>
