We have a simple Script that runs a number of 'ps -ef' and for some reason it is taking up 100% CPU and is showing up as a running process. We can see the process using top and shows CPU util at 100%+. Yet It can't be killed using a 'kill -9' and when we look at glance it displays 'active CPU'S' as 3 and not the full 4. It is a N4000 with 4 processors What can we do to rectify this.
