Hi,
check file /etc/syslog.conf maby there is
some syntax error or logfile does't exist.

Hi,

sh: Syntax error: `newline or ;' is not expected.
# Jan 25 14:00:00 scw01 syslog: Pid 14137. Program <> Failed to open Error Log
sh: Jan: not found.
# file <>. Err=.
sh: .: Cannot create the specified file.

Based from the log it seems that there's a problem in your script. Can you show us the script that you are running?

Do you have files with special characters in /etc/rc.config.d?
