      <description>Man on lvdisplay says &lt;BR /&gt; "Mirrored disk information requires the installation of the optional HP&lt;BR /&gt;      MirrorDisk/UX software, which is not included in the standard HP-UX&lt;BR /&gt;      operating system."&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Is there any other way to find out if volume group has mirrored disks besides using sam?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>Yes, you can use the lvdisplay command:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;# lvdisplay -v /dev/vg00/lvol1&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Look for "Mirror Copies" and that will tell you if you have mirroring on that logical volume and how many. If it's 0, then that LV is not mirrored.</description>
