The ws_ftp product line does have batch mode.

I posted a very old version that might not have the chmod ability.

This product is published by ipswitch and they have a numbe of products that might meet your need.

On the windows side, the windows scheduler can invoke ws_ftp or even the non-gui ftp client built into windows(which can not do chown or chmod). My websites are updated daily by such products whether i am @ keyboard or not.

SEP

I'm looking for a windows FTP client that will allow me to run chmod (connects to an HP 11.o server) from a command line. I don't want any fancy gui ... just a simple ftp client that can be used in a batch file.

Thanks

Though it fails the GUI test, it is, ws_ftp does have all the abilities listed in your request.

It does have a batch mode and can handle unix chmod commands and suc.

I am attaching a older, reliable version. If you like it you can use it to find a current version on the web.

SEP
