topic ps -ef in Operating System - HP-UX

hi folks,

I am getting the following result when I do a grep on a certain web* process on ps -ef.

Could someone tell me what defcs means. Our web server keeps hanging and our database server (on which i ran ps -ef) keeps giving usr% around 99 with sar -u 1 10.

I was hoping if someone could help me find way to reduce load on these servers or find out the bottleneck for these loads.
