      <description>Hi friends,&lt;BR /&gt;I am getting an pthread error ... can anyone throw some light on this.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;When i execute "swpackage" command ( as reported by one of our developer .. i have never used it ) i get this error:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Pthread internal error: message: __pthread_startup() failed , file: /ux/core/lib&lt;BR /&gt;s/threadslibs/src/common/pthreads/pthread.c, line: 8836&lt;BR /&gt;Return Pointer is 0xc092d430&lt;BR /&gt;Quit (core dumped)&lt;BR /&gt;bash-2.05b#&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Does this mean that some of the library files got corrupted or so  and what should i do  for the same.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks in advance for your time and help.&lt;BR /&gt;Regards,&lt;BR /&gt;Bharat</description>

      <description>Hi Bharat,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;- Run it in multiple user mode but without any others applications running(NFS,Oracle ...)(may be a max_thread_proc pbs)&lt;BR /&gt;-Try to run it in sh ;-).&lt;BR /&gt;-It can come from lock_file in /var/adm used by swpackage. So verify this way by finding with ".Lock..."&lt;BR /&gt;-Verify your level patch between swpackage and system&lt;BR /&gt;-If anything work: "A:\INSTALL"&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Good luck.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;J.M.B.)</description>
