What does mean "rr" in commnad mount ?

It should be either

-o rw (For read/Write access)

-o ro (For read only access)

I would suggest it's a typo!

Hi,

It stands for RockRidge which replaces the old *crappy* pfs_mount routines.
Use it..appreciate it...love it.
As Martha would say....It's a good thing.

Yes, rr=Rock Ridge.

If you have the patches installed to enable the '-o rr' option to mount you definitely want to use it rather than the pfs* commands. The pfs* "stuff" (I'm trying to be polite) needs to be taken out back and shot.

Rock Ridge - it's a CD format.
There's quite alot on the forums about this out there.
