Yes,

You can very much do that.

If A and B are the servers then

Fail over all the packages from A to B, take the ignite of A.

Restore the ignite to the New disk on A and Bring the server up and join the cluster.

Fail over all the packages from B to A and take the ignite of B. Restore the ignite of B to the new disk and bring the cluster up.
Fail over the required packages to B whichever is required.

Hope this helps.

Nair

I have a cluster and I want to change the internal disks from both nodes, for others with more capacity... Is it possible with IgniteUx tape... with make_tape_recovery command without any problems?

You can do that.

I recommend you take the node out of the cluster, do a make_tape_recovery, then the put it back into the cluster.

Same thing for node2.

Not needed if the storage being arranged is not shared. If its local storage that is not failed over you are good just making and applying a recovery archive on the node in question.

SEP

Just making sure - these are operating system discs aren't they? Ignite is not recommended for non-OS discs.

Mark Syder (like the drink but spelt different)
