    <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;You can do it by spliting the files in portions  smaller than 2 GB and than cpio or tar to tape.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;split [-b n[k|m]] [-a suffix_length] [file [name]]&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;For restoring the files you can use cat.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Regards,&lt;BR /&gt;Borislav</description>
