Problem installing HP-web server suite using SWINSTALL

Hi,

I am facing problem in installing the following depot. Pls find the error which i am getting.

Error:

"atlantic:/tmp/HPUXWSATW-A210-1100.depot": You do not have the
required permissions to perform this operation. Check permissions
using the "swacl" command or see your system administrator for
assistance. Or, to manage applications designed and packaged for
nonprivileged mode, see the "run_as_superuser" option in the "sd" man
page.

I am running swinstall from root only & also i have given full permission to this depot file. Can anyone tell me what is the exact problem & how it can be solved

hi,

give the full path while giving the swinstall.

just try this
#swinstall -s /tmp/HPUXWSATW-A210-1100.depot

Restart the swagentd daemon:

# ps -ef | grep swagentd
root 1692 1 0 Feb 11 ? 0:06 /usr/sbin/swagentd -r
