how can i change my system from untrusted to trusted system??
i have hp-ux b 11.11 in my server.

Hi,

#/usr/lbin/getprdrf

shows that your system is trusted or not

to make it untrust

#/usr/lbin/tsconvert -r

(make a back up of /etc/passwd before converting)

Hi Piyut,

Its cool and interesting when u use commandline for any purpose. But In this case my suggestion is to use SAM. Its very safe to use sam for trusted system preparation.

Auditing Security --> System Security Policies. ( On a non-trusted system if you reach this area it propmts you to make the system trusted. )

You can refer this hp-doc for advanced operations.

I recommend you use SAM.
#sam
choose
Auditing Security --> System Security Policies. -> choose YES
That 's All.

Piyut,

I echo the recommendation to use SAM to trust or untrust - this is the only supported method (according to HP docs.)
