Hello all,

Shortly after installing the MAR2001 release of the Online Diags, I discovered that the cclogd process was consuming 99% CPU on 1 of 4 CPU's in the server. I have two HP9000 N-class servers in a Service Guard 11.09 cluster and both exhibited the same problem, although not at the same times.

I was able to stop and restart the cclogd daemon by using the stm tools and for the last 2 days all is well.

I did find another reference within the forum on this topic:

http://forums.itrc.hp.com/cm/QuestionAnswer/1,1150,0xe1b879bffde7d4118fef0090279cd0f9,00.html

The solution at that time was to load the current version of Online Diags. I'm wondering if this previously fixed issue has crept back into the MAR2001 release. I only loaded the MAR2001 release because the DEC2000 release had a bug that would falsely report backplane power failures (observed).
There does appear to be aknown problem with this in the March 2001 Diagnostics, which will be fixed in teh June release.
The workaround currently is to shutdown the cclogd process and then restart it, which cures temporarily the problem, which is a call looping by the way.
