sendmail problem

Hello experts,

whenever i tries to send email from unix machine to windows machine account i get the following error despite all the configuration is ok.
sharif@xx.com.xx... Connecting to mail3.xx.com.xx via relay...
sharif@xx.com.xx... Deferred: Connection reset by mail3.xx.com.xx
Closing connection to mail3.xx.com.xx
what could be the error?
Any help is higly appreciated.

Here you go. According to this it might be DNS lookup problem.

formatting error was caused by the "=" at the end of the links posted, removed. This only happens with IE,
