What is cclogd? It's killing my CPU. How can I stop it safely?

cclogd is one of the diagnostic process.. not sure what it does .. to stop this you can stop the diag and restart it again.

this could also because of the OLD diag version.. the new version of Diags does have a fix for this

There does appear to be aknown problem with this in the March 2001 Diagnostics, which will be fixed in the June release.
The workaround currently is to shutdown the cclogd process and then restart it, which cures temporarily the problem, which is a call looping by the way.
