      <description>To boot single user&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;at console&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;restart the box&lt;BR /&gt;interupt at the 10 second prompt&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;bo pri&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;ENTER&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Y es Interact&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;ENTER&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;hpux -is&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;after boot&lt;BR /&gt;mount /var&lt;BR /&gt;mount /usr&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If possible, then run fsck, otherise do it with the full path of the command.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;/usr/bin/fsck&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Its probably somewhere in /sbin as well.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;SEP&lt;/ENTER&gt;&lt;/ENTER&gt;</description>

      <description>Good question above - how did ther get into this position?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Are you actually using VxVM on this server?  &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If not, boot into single user and disable the startup entirely.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;T</description>

      <description>I didn't think earlier that this may be the cause of the problem:&lt;BR /&gt;Basically I zoned in some disks from a clarrion array.&lt;BR /&gt;and I think there is still some correction required in the connectivity from this host to the array.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;One of the friends here suggested to plug out the FC cable, and really the machine booted fast after that.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;But still a question, what the booting and some changes/errors in the zoning have to do in common (the boot disk is internal one, undisturbed)?</description>
