Ok, I didn't read your instructions thoroughly enough...it was just telling you how to find the PDC firmware revision. The last step stating if it's not version 44.38(?) go to the next step of "creating a firmware tape". Ok...well it's not version 44.38, it's 41.39. Where do I go from here...to create this tape??

Thanks,
Chet

Hi all,

I need to install a patch to update the STM, EMS and GSP on a production server here...I talked directly with HP and they told me to install this patch: PF_CRHW4428.frm. I know when installing "normal" patches i have to shar the file first...how do I "shar" this file, and then install...thanks...

Chet

I missed this:

Equivalent Patches:
PHSS_31800:
s700: 11.00
s800: 11.00

PHSS_31801:
s700: 11.11
s800: 11.11

That is a normal patch that can and should be downloaded and installed.

It should be installed all by itself, with no other patches and part of no patch depot.

SEP
