    <description>So, the pdf doc is on Unix server....&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;You can:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;use samba and share oout that directory to Windows  clients&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;use apache and have a link to the pdf doc via a web browser&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;client can ftp the doc to their machine and open locally&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;xhost not needed at all...&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Rgds...Geoff&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>And then ? What's the problem ?&lt;BR /&gt;Is PDF reader launched from unix server to be dispayed on a client ? Client must be running an Xserver and accept connexion. If client is a Windows machine, must have an X server as cygwin or X emulation as Reflexion X or Exceed.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If you want help, please give a little more detail on your problem.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Regards,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Fred&lt;BR /&gt;</description>
