problem in vg

hi all
i have a problem in vg.

i have two vg with 2 hd (vg00,vg01)

vgdisplay -v /dev/vg01

there is 8 PE allocated in vg01 and not used
how can i make this spase in free PE ?

Hi Kamal,

Looks like you have a second logical volume in this volume group.

# pvdisplay -v /dev/dsk/c0t5d0

# ll /dev/vg01

# lvdisplay -v /dev/vg01/lvol?

The free PE in a VG is exclusive. And cannot be allocated to another VG.

You will have to add new disk to vg00.
