I was wondering if other products make use if it - I seem to remember openview operations may use it - is that true? Any other services that may be disbled if we turn off this daemon?       <description>Yes, most of the OpenView products use it. Examples, ITO &amp;amp; NNM are the more well known OV products to use snmp.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;You should not have any trouble turning off the snmp daemon if you do not monitor systems via snmp.</description>
