    <description>Check your /var/adm/syslog/syslog.log for error messages.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Also run dmesg and look for problems.&lt;BR /&gt;# dmesg&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Have you had any other problems on the system lately, recently regen'd the kernel, etc.?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;How long has the system been up?&lt;BR /&gt;# uptime&lt;BR /&gt;Although I do not support the idea of "when in doubt, reboot", sometimes if you are running out of resources, a reboot may be the only way to clear the system so that you can continue.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Cheryl &lt;BR /&gt;aka "Downtime is a Crime"</description>
