Hi,

I need to upgrade my DNS cache only server from 4.9.7 to 9.x on HP 11.00.

Pls help me to use "named-bootconf.sh" utility.What are the parameters reuired .
for me that script never comes out when executed .

Can any one tell what are the steps needs to be taken .

I think you are better off with a cold install of BIND 9.2 and then key in or import your zone databases.

Here is a guide to setting up DNS/Bind. Its a Linux doc but I used it on HP-UX.

This is not a chroot implementation.
