      <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;There is no need to recreate vg.Please provide some detailed information so that we might help you. Which version of OS ?       <description>How did you loose you VG?  if a number of disks failed you should activate the vg with&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;vgchange -a y -q n &lt;VG&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;This will allow it to be activated without quorum.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If you have lost primary &amp;amp; mirror of any LV then you must restore from backup.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Regards&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Tim&lt;/VG&gt;</description>
