Backup Errors

HI ,

I take a backup of an AIX server on HPUX server through sam. the backupgoes well and in between , I get few errors like "fbackup(1107): WARNING: unable to get file control information for file"

Could anyone suggest on this please

Hi,

The file you are trying to backup may be in use. Just check on your AIX server ,the file you are trying to backup is in use or not. Do "fuser /path/file".

Not a problem... I presume that u are taking a hot backup, and the files are in use..
