Hi,

On a workstation it is not possible if you have not console port if you have console port you can. But you can connect any normal monitor to your workstation if it has a 15 Pin D-type female VGA port & then by changing resolution setting you can use that monitor.

HTH,
Devender
Hi,

You can use normal serial console cable (Not parallel) to connect this to a serial port of a PC/Laptop. There will not be a prompt untill machine boots so power recycle the machine and then wait for something to come on terminal. Also check that terminal is a working one.

HTH,
Devender

When you reboot, disconnect the keyboard, then the workstation will default to the serial port. You can reconnect the keyboard when you have some output on your dumb terminal.
